Custom Picture Framing – Since 1987, Colbert Custom Framing has provided excellent custom picture framing services, working closely with clients to fulfil the company’s slogan “You’re Going to Love It!.” Laser Cutting Machine
Stephanie Colbert Randall, third-generation owner, and her staff collaborate with clients to choose the right matting and moulding for any art or object, focusing on aesthetic and practical solutions for each project. All work is done in-house from start to finish. Services even include delivery and installation in the Naperville area! Local in-home or in-office consultation services are also available.
Custom Art Printing – With its large in-house pigment ink art printers, high-resolution scanner, and a creative team of graphic artists, Colbert Custom Framing & Art Printing can print photos, quality art reproductions, canvases, and more. Custom art printing is a great way to enhance and personalize a custom framing order. Photographers and artists can bring their originals to Colbert Custom Framing for giclee reproductions to showcase and sell.
Custom Engraving – This summer, Randall expanded the company’s services to include custom metal plate engraving. Current colors available are silver, gold, black with silver letters, and black with gold letters. Engraved plates are available in custom sizes up to 12”x8”. An engraved metal plate, completed with a diamond drag tool by the company’s CAD software-operated engraving machine, adds class to any custom framing job. Clients can include important information such as titles, names, dates, and more. Other customizable features are font style and font size. The talented Colbert team can make suggestions regarding custom aspects of engraved plates to bring about the best result on each order.
“We’ve always been able to source engraved plates to put on a mat or on the face of a frame,” said Randall, “but bringing this service in-house opens up more opportunities for the customization and creativity that we’re known for.”
Custom framing orders placed through November 2023 qualify to save $5 off every $25. The company also offers In-Stock Materials sales on custom framing orders – 50% off in-stock mouldings and 25% off in-stock matting. Materials-only orders qualify for even larger discounts (clients pick up completed components and finish the project themselves at home).
Colbert Custom Framing & Art Printing accepts orders for Christmas even into December due to its large on-site warehouse stocked with thousands of feet of wood/metal mouldings and hundreds of sheets of designer acid-free matboards. Lots of choices available right away. In December, orders for Christmas quality for 15% off.
The 5,000 sq. ft. facility is located in Market Meadows Plaza on the NW corner of 75th St. and Naper Blvd. Store hours are M-F 10AM to 6PM and Sat. 9AM to 5PM.
